Its funny I came a accross your blog while reseacrhing my family name. I have family in MN that are Mickschls. My Grandmother was a Darlene Michschls and my Mother was Dickie Lee Mickschl.
I know its a long shot that you may know the orgins of this name. But so far I have found the it is of Czech Republic Bohemia and Moravia decent. Many immigrants arrived from those areas in the late 19th century and early 20th to escape war etc. Just wondering what information you have regarding the surname. Thanks in advance. K.C.
